Elixirs

There are 8 basic types of Elixirs in the game.
You can improve the potency of your Elixirs by mixing together two Elixirs of the same level and type in order to get one new Elixir of a higher level. By repeating this process, you can upgrade Elixirs up to a maximum Level of 12. The higher the level of the Elixir, the better bonus it will grant to your forces once activated.

To mix Elixirs, go to your Sanctum of Asclepius, open the "Amphora Chamber" tab and choose the Elixirs you wish to mix. Click "Select" and they will appear in the "Mix Elixirs" section of the window. You will also be able to see the bonus you receive once the Elixirs are mixed together. Click "Mix" to produce the higher level Elixir. Note: You must upgrade the Sanctum of Asclepius to use Elixirs of the higher levels.

Once mixed, the Elixir will be immediately sent to the Cache.

You can receive Elixirs by:
- Purchasing them at the Market within the "Misc." tab;
- Participating in Global Tournaments;
- Challenging other Coalitions;
- Attacking or defending Persian Positions;
- Other game interactions.

All Mystery Chests acquired will be sent to your Cache within the Sanctum of Asclepius, where you may open them and extract the Elixirs.

To use and store Elixirs, you must first build the Sanctum of Asclepius. All Elixirs gained in the game are stored in the Cache at your Sanctum of Asclepius. To view an Elixir's attributes, simply place your cursor over it. To apply any Elixir and benefit from its bonuses, simply place it into any open Activation Slot on the Activation Board.
Caution! You must use a Divine Goblet to open additional Activation Slots.

Elixirs are permanent bonuses, and will not disappear from slots unless you decide to remove them.

Once applied, you can only safely remove Elixirs of Level 5 or higher and return them to your Cache with the help of a special tool – the Caduceus. This tool can be purchased from the Market. Removing the Elixirs of Level 5 or higher without the help of a Caduceus will result in the Elixir being permanently destroyed! Yet Elixirs of Levels 1-4 can be extracted without any tools and will be saved in the Cache.

Keep in mind that there are two types of Caduceus:
Silver Caduceus can safely remove Elixirs of Levels 5-8.
Golden Caduceus can safely remove Elixirs of Levels 5-12

Note: Each Caduceus is a "single-use" only and may be used to extract only ONE Elixir.
